Record time off for an employee
Section titled “Record time off for an employee”Someone calls in or tells you in person? Record it for them.
On Request Off, choose the employee under On behalf of (optional), fill in the dates, and submit. It’s approved automatically.
Tap the + button in the middle of the bottom bar and choose time off, or open Time Off. Choose the employee, fill in the dates, and tap Submit request. It’s approved automatically.
If the employee already has shifts on those dates, Duxora lists them and asks before recording it. Record anyway saves the time off but doesn’t change the shifts, so remember to update the schedule.
Time-off rules
Section titled “Time-off rules”An admin can set these under Settings › Time off:
- Employees can request time off: turn this off to stop new requests. Employees still see their past requests.
- Minimum notice: how many days ahead employees must ask.
- Blackout dates: busy days when time off can’t be requested.
- Max people off per day: set on each location (see Locations and store hours).
